Terms of Use

Effective October 29, 2026 · Applies to the MedPull iPhone app, MedPull Personal subscriptions, the MedPull console and medpull.app

These are the terms between you and MedPull when you use the app, a subscription or the console. We have kept them short and in plain words. Where the App Store is involved, Apple's rules apply too.

1. What MedPull is

MedPull reads signals from your iPhone, Apple Health and connected wearables, together with the answers and notes you give it, and turns them into readouts: recovery progress for a patient and their care team, readiness, training load and sleep for a MedPull Personal subscriber, and team readiness for an athletic program. It includes an AI coach and assistant that writes plans and answers from your numbers.

2. Not medical advice

MedPull is a tool for recovery and training. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose or treat any condition, and nothing it shows or says is medical advice. Readouts can be wrong, late or missing when a sensor is off, a sync fails or a model misreads your numbers. Decisions about your health belong to you and your clinicians. If you feel unwell, or you are unsure whether something is safe for you, speak to a clinician. In an emergency call your local emergency number; MedPull does not monitor for emergencies and nobody is watching the app in real time.

3. Who may use it

You must be at least 18, or 13 or older using MedPull with a parent or guardian's permission, for example as a patient a clinic invited or an athlete on a school program. By using MedPull you confirm this is true. You must give us accurate information and keep it current.

4. Your account

Clinic patients sign in with their phone number and a code sent by text. MedPull Personal and Sports accounts use an email address and a password. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details private and for what happens under your account. Tell us at once at hello@medpull.org if you think someone else has used it.

5. Subscriptions and trials

  • Plans. MedPull Personal is sold as a monthly or a yearly auto-renewing subscription through the App Store. The price is shown in the app before you buy and is set by Apple for your region.
  • Free trial. New Personal accounts get a 14-day trial with every feature on. If you choose a plan during the trial, you are charged when the trial ends, not before.
  • Renewal. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it renews. Apple charges your Apple ID account.
  • Cancelling. Manage or cancel in iOS Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions, or from Profile in the app. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the paid period.
  • Refunds. Purchases are made through Apple and refunds are handled by Apple under its terms. We cannot issue App Store refunds ourselves.
  • Lapsed access. When a subscription or trial ends the Personal readouts, plan and coach pause until you subscribe again. Your data stays in your account unless you delete it.
  • Price changes. If a price goes up, Apple will tell you in advance and ask you to agree before the new price applies.

6. Using MedPull through a clinic or team

When a clinic or athletic program invites you, that organisation has its own agreement with MedPull and pays for your use. Your care team or program staff see what you share with them through the app, as described in the Privacy Policy. Messages you send through the app reach your care team through MedPull and are not a substitute for calling the office. A clinic or program may end your access when your care or your season ends.

7. What you agree not to do

  • Use someone else's account, or let someone use yours, except a parent or guardian helping a minor.
  • Feed MedPull data that is not yours or that you know is false.
  • Use the AI coach or assistant to produce content that is abusive, unlawful or harmful, or try to make it act outside what the app offers.
  • Copy, scrape, reverse engineer, resell or interfere with the app, the console, the service or its security.
  • Use MedPull to practise medicine, or present its readouts as a diagnosis, to anyone.

8. Your content and our software

Your data is yours. You give us the permission we need to store it, process it, show it to the people you are connected to and write your readouts from it, as described in the Privacy Policy and in the consent form you agreed to in the app. The app, the console, the models, the metrics and everything else that makes up MedPull belong to MedPull and its licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, under these terms and Apple's usage rules.

9. Beta features

MedPull Personal and MedPull Sports are early versions. Features, readouts and wording will change while we learn from early users, and some things will be wrong. Where the app marks something as beta, you use it knowing that, and we ask that you tell us what is wrong.

10. Disclaimers and liability

MedPull is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of any readout. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any injury or loss that comes from relying on the app in place of a clinician. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or 50 US dollars if you paid nothing. Some places do not allow these limits, in which case they apply as far as that law allows.

11. Ending the agreement

You can stop using MedPull at any time, and you can delete your account and its data from Profile. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts other users at risk or that we must close by law; we will tell you why when we are allowed to. Sections 2, 8, 10 and 13 survive the end of this agreement.

12. Apple's terms

The app is licensed, not sold, to you. Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to the app as a minimum, and where these terms give you less than it does, Apple's agreement controls. Apple is not a party to these terms, has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the app, and is a third-party beneficiary entitled to enforce them. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claim about the app, including product liability, legal compliance or intellectual property claims; that is on us.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before bringing a claim, you agree to email us and give us 30 days to resolve it. If we cannot, the courts of Harris County, Texas have jurisdiction, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.

14. Changes and contact

When these terms change in a way that matters, the app will show you the new version and ask you to agree before you continue. Continuing to use MedPull after that means you accept the new terms. Questions: hello@medpull.org.
